So many commissions, over 20 of them! Wow, that is overwhelmingly amazing. And especially amazing since I've had to stay away from taking plush commissions for the past two years! I'm so looking forward to sewing each one of them. <3 Thank you so much!

That being said, I am temporarily closing commissions!

I have to figure out how taxes will change the prices in the future, and will be back as soon as that is solved.

Old price quotes are now not valid anymore.

I'll be able to give price quotes again as soon as commissions reopen! They will approximately stay closed until all current orders are completed. :)

Dragon OC Ullises plush - detail shots
I made two of this plush!!!111

Pasting description of the main Deviation:

Here they are, the most complex and time-consuming plushies I ever made! It’s Ulisses, a very detailed dragon OC. :D

Have some facts:

  • They consist of 468 single fabric pieces total

  • Each of them is unique: Their tails are on opposite sides of the body and one of them is raised, one plushies’ upper body is straight while the other is facing towards the side~

  • The claws are the body part with the most pieces involved: 144! It took 12 hours just to handsew them (without cutting or machine sewing time)

  • It took 17.5 hours to create the pattern, 3.7 hours to create and stitch embroidery designs for the eyes and scale details - the total working time is 87 hours.

  • Number of fabric pieces for respective body parts for both plushies:

     Tail: 126

     Wings: 24

     Main body: 82

     Head: 92

Number of green stripes (tiny!): 66

Number of grey spikes: 53 (--> consisting of 106 fabric pieces)

  • The wings are poseable thanks to pipe cleaners and foam on their inside!

  • They are 20cm tall, 15cm wide and their tail length is 19/20cm.

  • You can view a work-in-progress album here! www.facebook.com/pg/Pinku-Art-…

Needless to say, my fingers were really showing all that handsewing. ;) I had to work with a time limit too, they had to be ready to be an epic christmas gift!

What should I say... xD I am very happy that they are completed and that they turned out so beautiful. <3 Now every other plushie seems easy compared to them, haha.

I have learned a lot from this project, especially about planning even more ahead to find out which way I should work to save time and also that I have a whole lot of endurance. Yay! xD

I tried something new and also filmed the plushies a bit to give a better view of them - we’ll see how that turned out once I get to edit it. :D

Fabulous unicorn plush
I got to make a super adorable unicorn plush! :D
It is made out of minky fabric, stuffed with polyfiber fill and the eyes and stars are machine embroidered. The wings are three wing pieces each with machinesewn details handsewn onto each other~
I used threadsculpting to make the mane look more 3D and poofy. The challenging part of this plush was making the stars in the mane a reality - I originally planned to make them out of fabric, but they were way too tiny to sew. Even with the embroidery machine sewing the shapes for me they turned into sludge after trying to turn them inside out. xD So I decided to fully embroider them onto many layers of water-solible stabilizer with the embroidery machine. The didn't look like sludge with that method! :D A few stars were lost due to dissolving together with the stabilizer with the first tries, putting glue on their backside before carefully removing the stabilizer finally worked out ;w; You can see on my fingers that it took quite some handsewing to get them on there, I'm so glad it worked :)  And I love how incredibly soft the lavender minky of the mane is ;w;

The threadsculpting and star embroidery were new skills I learned thanks to this plush, yay! :) And now I know that details this tiny are just not possible to sew, haha

Height: 20cm

Hii! :3
Wo kriegst du deinen Minky Stoff her?

Danke nochmals!! :lovehug:
